THE IDEA OF THE CONFERENCE

This year the annual conference riases a curious question “How much consulting in… consulting?”.
We all observe with great interest rankings of management consulting companies in every country, but give a little thought to what in fact is covered by the term “management consulting”. IT consulting, Human Resources consulting, training, project management, capacity building financed from structural funds…, is it all consulting?
Reflections from prominent speakers on this issue in a series of stimulating presentations and panel discussions, will provide the basis for an interesting discussion which will allow for closer analysis of the issue which, the conference organisers hope, will enable us to better define the real scope of our market in the 21st century
On the first day of the conference, speakers will present recent developments, trends and perspectives for the consulting industry in particular regions: Western Europe, Eastern & Central Europe, as well as Japan and China.
In the afternoon, three ‘networking’ workshops on different themes: IT Consulting, Human Resources Consulting & Training and Management Consulting, will provide you with an opportunity to expand your business network with contacts from all over Europe. To facilitate the targeting of prospective business partners, participating companies will be asked to sketch a profile of their company in a short presentation.
The second day of the Conference will be dedicated to international cooperation. During the plenary session, speakers will share their experience in: the realization of projects with an international character, the building of consortiums and cooperation with local companies, as well as their strategy and approach to this kind of undertakings.
During the workshop sessions in the afternoon experienced consultants will share their practical solutions for solving everyday operational issues of consulting companies, such as:
* How to sell your services efficiently?
* What does modern business expect from consultants, and how to adapt to these requirements
* How necessary is the support of IT to traditional business consulting?
* How to build competitive strength through innovation?
We encourage all interested persons to actively participate in this high level event by contributing presentations, assisting with the moderation of workshops or simply by presenting a profile of your company at one of the networking workshops.
This conference offers an excellent opportunity to share practical information and experience in the friendly circle of business consultants from all over the world.
