Polish consulting closer to the world

The conference of consulting associations and companies will take place for the first time in Poland on October 4-5, 2007. Representatives of the world and European consulting, as well as political and business personages, among others: Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, Henryka Bochniarz, Robert Gwiazdowski and FEACO president Antoine Beuve-Mery will meet in Warsaw.


During the two days spent under the banner: „Development and cooperation in current consulting” speakers shall discuss among other things the prospects of the development of consulting in Poland and worldwide, the role of consultant in an age of globalisation, new services and the need for consulting company cooperation in the face of global financial and economic problems.

The FEACO conference is organised each year in different countries and unites approximately 200 foreign guests – presidents in biggest associations of the world consulting and representatives of consulting companies who meet in order to exchange their own experiences, discuss the prospects of the development of specific countries as well as to establish business relations.

This years’ conference will take in Warsaw at the Holiday Inn hotel on October 4-5, 2007.

FEACO, European Federation of Management Consultancies Association – is the umbrella organisation for 23 national federations of management consultancy associations and the representatives of the European market of economic consultancy. FEACO unites: 18 member associations from European Union countries, 2 member associations from EFTA, 2 associated members from the Balkans and a cooperating member from outside Europe: Hong-Kong. National associations unite in total over 3700 consulting companies which employ over 11000 consultants. For over 47 years the main activity of FEACO, apart from representing the profession on a European level, has consisted in supporting the development of the market of economic consultancy and in representing the business of economic consultants in relations with European and international organisations.

Association of Economic Consultants – was established in 1990 in an environment that brings together practitioners of economic life employed in consulting companies who want to mutually support the transformation process in Poland ,sharing their knowledge and experience. After its registration in the Regional Court in Warsaw in January 1991, the Association of Economic Consultants (SDG) has conducted statutory activity aimed at stimulating the development of the market of consulting services in Poland. The goal of the Association is to support activities in economic consultancy and to back up its development in Poland. According to the statute, this goal is accomplished via: exchange and making information available, organisation of training, seminars and career workshops, promoting the principles of professional ethics, supporting the development of consulting companies, cooperation with governmental and non-governmental departments as well as other national and international organisations.
